In tribute to Queen Elizabeth II’s 70 years on the throne, Bolton-based cleaning and laundry expert, Dr. Beckmann, has changed its name to Dr. Beckma’am.
It has produced a special limited-edition pack of its Pet Stain and Odour Remover, giving it a full royal make-over, complete with the UK flags, its new title and the inclusion of corgis – the Queen’s pets – as the focus of the bottle graphic.
This isn’t the first time the household brand, which is made in Astley Bridge, has honoured the monarch, as last year it commissioned a portrait of the Queen and her adorable corgis to mark her 95th birthday.
Acclaimed Welsh artist, Nathan Wyburn, created an incredibly detailed portrait of the Queen in carpet, using Dr. Beckmann’s hugely popular Pet Stain and Odour Remover.
With the help of mud and other outdoor stains, he used the stain remover as a painting brush to create the piece of ‘carpet art’.
Dr. Beckmann spokesperson, Susan Fermor, said: “After last year resulted in postponed celebrations and toned-down festivities, we couldn’t be more excited to be celebrating such a momentous occasion in this way.
“We wanted to honour the Queen and her iconic corgis, so we rebranded our popular Pet Stain and Odour Remover because we knew that the marking of such an event required something innovative and unique.
“The Queen’s unwavering devotion to her people (dogs included) and her country is something that should be celebrated, now more than ever after a very tough couple of years for everyone, including Her Majesty.
“We know The Queen is extremely fond of corgis, which is why Dr. Beckmann’s Pet Stain and Odour Remover was the perfect product to receive a rebrand in honour of the Jubilee.”
For a limited time only, Dr. Beckmann’s Pet Stain and Odour Remover has been reimagined to honour Her Majesty and her special companions.
