An author from Bolton will be holding a book signing in the town centre this weekend.
Matt Cain, who grew up in the town, will be signing books at the Waterstones branch in the town centre on Saturday, June 11.
The signing will be to celebrate the paperback release of his latest novel, The Secret Life of Albert Entwistle.
The book follows Albert Entwistle, who has been a postman in a quiet northern town for all his life.
Albert will be forced into retirement at his next birthday and realises the lonely future he faces, so he sets out to find the long-lost love of his life.
The book signing will take place at midday, with fans getting a chance to meet Matt.
Matt Cain is a writer, broadcaster and commentator on LGBTQ+ issues. He was born in Bury but grew up in Bolton and has been writing novels for almost a decade.
Matt will be at Bolton Waterstones at midday.
