
A MAN who admitted harassing a woman and sending her threatening messages in breach of a non-molestation order, has been sentenced to 12 weeks in prison, suspended for 18 months.
At Wigan Magistrates’ Court Paul Stephen Atack, aged 50, of Crescent Road, Kearsley, pleaded guilty after initially denying committing the offences in November and December last year as well as February this year.
He was ordered to participate in an accredited programme plus 21 days of rehabilitation activities.
A restraining order was made banning him from contacting his victim and he was ordered to pay a total of £313 in costs and charges.
