A driver in Bolton who had no licence or insurance made a mistake which caused him to be detected by the police.
The motorist drove at 56mph on a road where the limit is 30mph.
At the time police were carrying out speed enforcement checks.
The breach of the speed limit caused them to pull over the Audi and carry out further checks.
When police did so it emerged the driver was a provisional licence holder with no insurance to be behind the wheel.
GMP Traffic revealed what happened, saying in a post: "Reported to court and vehicle seized."
