A “mini jobs fair” is set to take place later this week for people interested in working in warehouses or the production sector.

The event will be held at Bolton Job Centre this Wednesday morning and is open to anyone who is looking for work in the area.

Organisers hope that this will not only prove useful to job seekers but also to nearby firms that are looking to fill vacancies.

A statement from Bolton at Work said: “Bolton Job Centre are holding a mini jobs fair for people interested in Warehouse and Production jobs.”

It added: “Come along and meet a small selection of employers and agencies offering paid local employment in this sector.

“Also secure your free place on a local FLT course.”

The event will be taking place on Wednesday, June 22 between 10am and 12pm on the first floor at Bolton Job Centre on Blackhorse Street, Bolton town centre.

This follows on from other, similar job fairs that have been aimed at finding employment for people in the area.

Last month hundreds of people attended one of these fairs in Bolton which also featured around 60 employers looking to fill vacancies and to provide advice on starting new businesses.
