- Four men are on trial for causing grievous bodily harm to Bolton man Anthony George.
- Mr George was rushed to hospital at 8.40pm on December 11 last year with serious stab injuries. The attack followed the alleged murder of Tyrone Williamson.
- Mr George is accused of murdering Mr Williamson.
- The four men on trial at Manchester Crown Court accused of wounding Mr George are: Brendan Carney, aged 26, of Cloister Street, Bolton; Roy Meanley, aged 29, of Rowena Street, Bolton; Nathan Carney-Williamson, aged 29, of Battenberg Road, Bolton; Thomas Lynch, aged 35, of Walley Street, Bolton.
- The trial is presided over by the Honorary Recorder of Manchester, Judge Nicholas Dean QC
