Police are appealing for information to identify two men they want to speak to as part of their investigations into a robbery.

Officers have released CCTV of two men they would like to identify after an elderly man was robbed at his home.

Police say the robbery took place in the Deane area and several items, including bank cards and money were stolen.

A spokesman for police said: "The victim was not injured but has understandably been left distressed and shaken.

"Anyone with information should contact officers via 0161 856 5578 quoting 2517 03/03/22."

Earlier today, police put out a statement revealing they had made 15 arrests in reported burglaries following a dedicated week of action, which also saw a reduction in burglaries.

The arrests have, so far, resulted in six individuals being charged in connection with various related offences including stolen cars and money.
