Hare poaching

A BOLTON man caught poaching hares at Skipton has been fined £65 by magistrates. Adam Colderley, aged 28, of Poplar Avenue, Horwich, pleaded guilty to taking the game from the Bolton Abbey Estate on the night of January 30.

Banned driver

MAGISTRATES have spared a man jail after he pleaded guilty to driving while banned and having no insurance. Mohammed Patel, aged 36, of Heathfield Drive, Bolton, was caught driving a Vauxhall Mokka on Cut Acre Way, Farnworth, on April 23. He was sentenced to eight weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months and banned from applying for a licence for 20 months.

Illegal cigarettes

A BOLTON shop which was caught supplying thousands of packets of illegal cigarettes and tobacco pouches has been fined. Lvin Foodstore Ltd, on St Helens Road, Bolton, pleaded guilty to supplying 13,293 packets of cigarettes and 40 pouches of tobacco which did not conform to legal packaging or carry the required health warnings. The company was fined £1,500 and ordered to pay £190. Ali Mala Bram Poor, aged 34, of Hibernia Street, Bolton, pleaded guilty to committing the same offences and was also fined £1,500 and ordered to pay £3,306 in council costs. The tobacco products were forfeited and destroyed.

Drunk and disorderly

MAGISTRATES have fined a woman £60 after she admitted being drunk and disorderly in Roseneath Grove, Bolton, on April 20. Kirbie Allport, aged 26, of Cheriton Gardens, Horwich, also admitted possessing cannabis. Allport was already subject to a suspended sentence for possessing drugs and carrying a knife.

Drug driver

A MERCEDES driver has been fined £1,023 after he was caught drug-driving. Amir Sofich, aged 37, of Maplewood Gardens, Bolton, denied driving a Mercedes on Manchester Road, Bolton, on May 12 after using cannabis but was found guilty following a trial.

Threatening behaviour

A MAN who used threatening or abusive behaviour in Bolton on April 24 has been fined £60. Muhammed Khan, aged 23, of Holcombe Crescent, Kearsley, pleaded guilty to committing the offence.

Driver used cannabis

MAGISTRATES have fined a man £120 after he was caught drug driving in a Ford Fiesta on Wilderswood Avenue, Horwich, on March 24. Kayne Everett, aged 21, of Wilderswood Avenue, admitted driving after using cannabis. He was banned from driving for 12 months.

Carpet dumped

A WOMAN who dumped carpet at the rear of her home in Calder Road, Bolton, on October 8 last year has been fined £200. Ingidia Somkova, aged 28, admitted committing the offence.

Conditional discharge

A MAN who was drunk and disorderly in Tonge Moor Road, Bolton, on April 19 has been sentenced to a conditional discharge for 12 months. Keith Clare, aged 57, of Victory Street, Halliwell, admitted committing the offence.
