A moped rider is due in court after failing to stop for police, say officers.
Police say after failing to stop the moped moutned the pavement, narrowly missing pedestrians.
The incident took place in Westhoughton.
Officers located the moped and seized the vehicle.
The rider will be attending court in due course.
The rider of this moped decided not to stop when required to be #XB14 and #XB54 in Westhoughton mounting the pavement nearly hitting pedestrians.

This comes amid wider concerns of anti-social behaviour on the roads including speeding, stolen vehicles and drunk or drug driving.
