A luxury car has been found in Little Hulton after being stolen in a burglary in Prestwich.
Police spotted the black BMW in Little Hulton and checks found that the car had been taken following a break-in.
Forensic checks have been carried out on the vehicle.
The incident was reported last night, Thursday, but the date and time of the reported burglary or the road it happened on in Prestwich have not been published by police.
On Twitter, a Greater Manchester Police Traffic spokesman said: "While out on patrol #XT54 (a police vehicle) came across this vehicle in Little Hulton.
"It was found to be stolen by means of a burglary from the Prestwich area last week.
"Vehicle recovered for forensic examination."
