Popular scarecrow festival to make a return
A popular scarecrow festival is coming back to Bolton.
Kearsley Scarecrow Festival is back for the seventh year and will take place on September 24 and 25.
Organisers are now taking entries for this year's event and they close on August 20.
The screcrow trail will be open from 10am until 4pm both days.
If you would like to register a screcrow there is a £5 per household/business fee and you can be done by emailing kearsleyscarecrowfestival@hotmail.com including name, contact details and the category.
Information packs will then be sent out and families can create their scarecrows.
On the weekend therewill be fairground rides, stalls, fundraising games and much more with all proceeds made going back into the community.
