Horwich's very own 'repair café' will be returning later this month.
It will take place at St Elizabeth’s Church on Cedar Avenue in Horwich on Saturday, July 16 from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
The event aims to help people repair their old or faulty items, whether it be as simple as fixing a jumper with moth holes or more complex like a vacuum cleaner on its last legs.
The idea is to try and keep things out of landfill, save people money and share skills – accompanied by tea, coffee and cake.
The repair services are free, although they are asking for voluntary donations to go towards their running costs.
