The Red Arrows will be gracing Winter Hill this weekend on a flight path to the Southport Air Show.
After having wowed crowds at the Silverstone Grand Prix last weekend, the pilots are now ready for a spectacular flight schedule which will fly over Winter Hill on July 9 and 10 at around 4pm.
The world-famous RAF display team in diamond formation will perform their aerobatic flying manoeuvres to people attending the Southport Air Show.
They'll make their way over from Blackpool at 3.48pm going through Cleveleys and Great Harwood before reaching Bolton and then on to Skelmersdale and Ormskirk before the Southport Air Show display at 4pm.
Streaming red, blue and white smoke across the sky as they perform their stunning routine, the fly past is loved by people in Bolton with many scrambling to take pictures and videos.
The Royal Air Force's Red Arrows team is one of the world most outstanding aerobatic display teams and is the public face of the RAF - showcasing its speed, agility and precision.
With its stunning diamond nine formation, the Red Arrows have been displaying since 1965.
They were last seen flying over Bolton last year in August.
Philip Richards has enjoyed seeing The Red Arrows in the past.
He said: “I’ve seen them a few times and seeing such an iconic British display team known worldwide close to home and circling Winter Hill forming into the iconic nine formation is a sight and sound to see and hear.
“A lot of people can't get to see these fly or go to a display but can travel local and get a chance, so that was the idea to post an update and allow people to see them.”
The full flight schedule is available online.
