A Bolton born radio presenter has been selected to replace Scott Mills and Chris Stark to present a new daytime slot on BBC Radio 1.
Vicky Hawkesworth, who hosts regular shows on BBC Radio Manchester will be joined by Dean McCullough.
On Friday it was announced that the presenting duo Scott, 48, and Chris, 35, who became popular thanks to a number of humorous segments including Innuendo Bingo, would be stepping down from presenting their Radio 1 slot in August.
The BBC announced Scott will be moving to BBC Radio 2, where he will take over the 2-4pm slot, which is currently held by Steve Wright.
Chris recently announced he will be joining Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp as a presenter and creative executive producer.
Northern Irish DJ and presenter Dean currently hosts the 10.30am-1pm slot Friday-Sunday on Radio 1, while Vicky hosts regular shows on BBC Radio Manchester and Gaydio.
