Are you hoping to be the next star of a short film in Bolton?

Well, directors and actors of a short film in Bolton are appealing for people to come forward to take part in the production as extras - and they also need people to do makeup.

Amateur director and actor, Peter Haslam, and actor Jordan Rising are showcasing a short film Fete Accomplis.

The short film involves the story of James, a young man played by Jordan who, despite his reluctance, visits a fortune teller at a church fete.

The fortune teller (played by actress Jacqui Brian) foretells James’ future, which uncannily predicts certain events in James’ life which start to become true.

As the predictions inexorably come to fruition, James considers the final prophesy - where he will die.

Can James escape his fate, or is it a “fait accomplis…?”

Filming has already been underway in various locations across the borough and Peter and James cannot wait to share their film.

However, the duo are now appealing once again for extras to take part in the filming on July 16 and 17, with makeup artists also needed on both dates.

Jordan said: "We have been filming Fete Accomplis over the last few weeks and it has been a great success.

"The film crew have gelled together so well and thanks to all their hard work, a dream is becoming reality.

"Once filming is complete, we will be entering into film festivals.

"There are two filming dates left - 16th July, where we are looking for people to play customers at a fete.

"The other is 17th July, where we are looking for people to play wedding guests.

"We have been overwhelmed by the response from potential cast, crew and extras.

“However, there are still opportunities for people to be involved, especially Boltonians like us!”
