Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident during the Bolton Iron Man event two weeks ago.
The incident took place at around 4pm on Sunday July 3 near Chorley Road, where a cyclist who was competing was injured.
A spokesperson from GMP Bolton North said: “During the Bolton Iron Man event, at around 4pm on Sunday 3 July 2022, there was an incident near to Chorley Road, Bolton, which resulted in an injury to a competing cyclist.
“Police are appealing for witnesses to assist them with their enquiries.”
