Manchester has been named one of the best cities in the world in a new list.
Time Out has rounded up the list of 53 cities and a handful of UK cities feature. The list was created following a survey, Time Out Index 2022.
UK destinations include Edinburgh, Glasgow, London while international cities featured include Lyon, New York and Stockholm.
Manchester came in at number 13 and it was praised for its ability to “always make you feel at home” as well as its “bars and top-notch culture”.
The list describes Manchester as “a resilient, progressive city, appreciative of its history but always looking ahead.”
