Drag Queen Story Hour is hosting an official summer tour and Bolton libraries are part of the event.
Drag Queen Story Hour UK provide fun and interactive kids shows with amazing and talented drag performers.
The idea behind the initiative is to show the world that being different is not a bad thing, and by providing imaginative role models for children to look up to, they can change the world book by book.
The inclusive storytelling event is for all ages and performed by author and children's drag queen, Aida H Dee The Storytime Drag Queen.
Aida is a published children's author, a patron of Autistic Inclusive Meets London, a five star Edinburgh Fringe Act, has been featured in Forbes magazine for being an activist for neurodivergence, and has recently been shortlisted as the top five Leader Of The Year by The PinkNews awards.
This tour has six events across two days going on around the borough in a number of Bolton libraries.
These include Bolton Central Library on August 17 at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
Harwood Library on August 18 at 11am, Farnworth Library on August 18 at 1pm and Westhoughton Library on August 18 at 3:30pm.
