WATERLOO Road actor Chris Finch gave advice to young actors at the Harmony Youth Project in Halliwell.
The youngsters are filming a modern take on Oliver, which deals with issues such as internet grooming and homophobia, as part of the B-You Project.
Bolton-born Chris, who plays homosexual Colin Scott in the BBC drama and also played gay Karl Foster in Coronation Street, dropped by to give them a few hints.
Harmony's Charlie Barratt said: "Chris has been a supporter of ours for four or five years and the kids were buzzing when he turned up.
"He came to chat to them about filming techniques and people, so we're really grateful for what he does."
