Backup North West are holding The Beatles tribute act fundraising concert.

The charity, who work with young homeless people, has enlisted 'The Merzees' to perform acts by the rock and roll legends at the Astley Bridge Conservative Club on Saturday September 17.

Tickets cost £15 and are available at here, and people will be greeted with pastie and peas on arrival.

CEO of the charity, Maura Jackson, said: "I am delighted to tell you that we have a ‘fabulous four’ fundraiser planned.

"The Beatles are coming to Bolton. Well, to Astley Bridge.

"Tickets are selling fast and last time we had a tribute night they sold out in three weeks.

"Supper is provided and there will be a raffle on the night.

"The Merzees are an amazing Beatles tribute act and it will be a lot of fun."
