Bolton based Boo Coaching and Consulting is celebrating its 10th birthday.

The company, based at Little Bolton Town Hall, was established in 2012 by founder and director Becci Martin who also happens to be a mental health nurse by background.

Becci said: “What a decade!.

" I’m incredibly proud of our team and what we’ve managed to achieve in some of the most challenging times for small businesses.

"We have proven that kindness is at the heart of successful business and I will be eternally grateful to my team, our amazing customers and my family who have put up with me throughout.

"At Boo we believe that everybody should feel valued and supported at work. We believe that one day it will become the norm for people to enjoy happy, healthy workplaces.

"We know that happy, healthy employees have a positive impact on customer experience. We know that the best way to achieve this is by helping leaders to be amazing.

"Our workplace wellbeing and leadership programmes have helped thousands of bosses be better bosses.

"Where we’ve sprinkled our magic, workplaces have thrived. Once the whole world is happy, healthy and valued in their jobs – we’ll just have to find something else to do."

During the last 10 years the company says it has achieved:

•Establishing a not for profit frontline NHS wellbeing centre in the early days of the global pandemic

•Awarded national Living Wage champions for their work in campaigning for the real living wage

•Becoming Guardians for Backup North West

•Sponsoring this year’s world premiere of the Book Thief at the Octagon Theatre

•Delivering their award winning workplace wellbeing and leadership programmes to thousands across the UK

The team is raising money for Backup North West as part of their birthday celebrations by taking a 10k hike around Bolton as well as hosting giveaways and supporting community events over the months to come.
