Oldham's motorists will have five road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network.

And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• A663, from 9.30am July 25 to 3.30pm August 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A663 northbound, from M60, junction 21 to end of dualling south of, junction 6189 works on footway outside No 340 due to electric works. 

And a further four closures will begin over the next 14 days:

• A627(M), from 9pm August 1 to 5am August 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A663 northbound and southbound, Moston Lane to A627(M) lane closure due to maintenance works.

• M60, from 8pm August 8 to 6am August 13, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 anti-clockwise J24 to J22 - Lane closure for Structure - maintenance.

• A627(M), from 8pm August 13 to 5am August 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A627M northbound, J1 to J2 - Lane closure for Structure - maintenance.

• A627(M), from 8pm August 15 to 5am August 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A627M southbound, junction 1 exit slip road lane closure due to maintenance.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
