Bolton’s biggest housing provider is calling on people looking for work to give ‘adult work experience’ a try.
The adult work experience is being offered by Bolton at Home, which runs thousands of homes across the borough.
The organisation says that this could be an ideal opportunity for people who have been out of work or are looking to chance careers.
A statement from Bolton at Home said: “If you’re looking for work but don’t have the experience required, take a look at our adult work experience vacancies for anyone aged 18 years and above.
“Work experience can be useful for anyone, at any stage of their career.
“It can help you to gain further skills and decide what to do if you’re out of work, changing career, looking for your first job, returning to work after a break.
“The roles are 25 hours a week for 8 weeks and offer the opportunity to learn about a job, a company, or a sector to see if it’s for you as well as gaining transferable skills to help you on your career path.”
The experience will be offered across a range of the housing providers sectors.
