A MOTORIST has been banned from driving for six months after committing a string of offences on a motorway on December 2 last year.
Manchester magistrates heard how Anthony Allonby, aged 53, of Chorley Old Road, Bolton, was caught driving a Vauxhall Tigra on the M62 without a licence or insurance.
He was also driving on part of the road not designated as a carriageway and the vehicle had no MoT certificate.
Allonby was convicted of the offences and, as well as a driving ban, was fined £880 plus £178 in costs and charges.
