An inquest has opened into the death of a 46-year-old man.

Daniel John Hulme, a demolition worker, was found unresponsive at his home in Victoria Road in Bolton on July 8 this year.

A coroner at Bolton Coroners Court heard how Mr Hulme was discovered with a ligature mark in his bedroom by family members.

He died at the scene and Area Coroner Prof Alan Walsh heard there were no suspicious circumstances regarding his death.

Pathologist, Dr Ravindra Sawant at Royal Bolton Hospital said the cause of death was subject to a toxicology report.

Prof Alan Walsh said: “An investigation into the death has begun and the body has been released.

“All statements from concerned parties must be in before September 16.”

The case has been adjourned until December 8 of this year at 10am.
