Oldham's motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this month.
And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing a holdup of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures are due to start this week:
• M60, from 8pm August 8 to 6am August 13, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M60 anti-clockwise J24 to J22 - Lane closure for Structure - maintenance.
• A627(M), from 8pm August 15 to 5am August 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A627M southbound, junction 1 exit slip road lane closure due to maintenance.
• M62, from 8.30pm August 20 to 5am August 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M62 eastbound and westbound, junction 19 to 21 lane closures due to general maintenance works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
