Staff and customers from Williams MINI on Raikes Lane in Bolton will join together next weekend in a unique fundraising initiative to raise funds for Maggie's Cancer Centres.
Over the course of the August 20 weekend, they will take part in a virtual bike ride on exercise bikes located in each showroom.
The teams will be riding a circuit between Maggie’s Manchester, Maggie’s Oldham and Maggie’s Wirral totalling 121 miles.
The team who completes the most laps of the circuit, will be crowned Bike for Maggie’s Challenge winners 2022.
The five retail centres are based in Bolton, Liverpool, Manchester, Rochdale, and Stockport, and the Williams team are inviting customers and friends to drop in to help push their chosen location to victory.
The virtual bike ride is part of a pledge made by Williams to raise money for Maggie’s, everyone’s home of cancer care', to help raise funds to continue their work supporting those going through cancer and all their families.
Alexandra Cook, development director at the Williams Group, said: “Raising money for Maggie’s is a great way for Williams to celebrate the MINI Big Love project to create happiness from this great iconic brand. “
