Bury tram passengers are facing disruption this afternoon, Thursday.
Metrolink says there is currently no service between Crumpsall and Bury due to the hot weather.
Soaring temperatures have caused an overheat line fault between the two tram stops.
Metrolink has advised customers those tickets ad passes are valid on bus services including numbers 41, 59, 55, 95, 97, 98, 135 and 524.
A Metrolink spokesperson said: "Due to a overhead line fault caused by high temperature there is no service between Crumpsall and Bury.
"Customers can use their tickets and passes on the 41, 59, 55, 95, 97, 98, 135 and 524 bus services."
