Bolton Wanderers fans have been banned from pubs within 10 miles of the away stadium for tomorrow’s match, police have said.
Ahead of their match away at Port Vale in Stoke-on-Trent tomorrow (August 13), Staffordshire Police have banned Wanderers fans from visiting pubs within 10 miles of the away ground.
Staffordshire Police Tweeted this morning stating that Bolton fans would have to make their drinks stops over 10 miles away from Vale Park.
It also specified that Bolton fans couldn’t visit any pubs in Burslem, the area of Stoke that Port Vale calls home, as well as general operational information ahead of the match.

The Police_PVFC account, which is Staffordshire Police’s Twitter account where announcements about policing and safety at Port Vale are made, Tweeted: “Bolton Wanderers fans travelling to Port Vale tomorrow: No pubs in Burslem for away fans. Please arrange a stop outside 10 miles of the stadium if required.
“Turnstiles open at 1330hrs. Car parking can be booked at portvaleparking.co.uk. Coach parking at the ground £25.”
