The founder of a Bolton social enterprise has been selected to join an advisory group looking at reducing reoffending for ex inmates.

Entrepreneurs Unlocked CIC, run by David Morgan from Bolton, has been selected to join the RR3 advisory group run by Clinks, a national organisation that promotes and represents the voluntary sector working with people in the criminal justice system and their families, in England and Wales.

Entrepreneurs Unlocked works with people with criminal histories, and those on the fringes of society, to recognise, develop and utilise their entrepreneurial talent to lead crime-free lives.

The RR3 Group, run by Clinks, in works order to increase understanding and build a strong and effective partnership with the Ministry of Justice to reduce reoffending.

Members are selected to be appointed to the RR3 group, based on their individual expertise and experience in the sector.

David was successful in his application and was invited to join the RR3 Future Regime Design Special Interest Group (SIG). 

He said: “It really is an honour to have been selected to join the RR3 Group.

“I am looking forward to contributing to the discussions and advising on the important topics facing the justice sector right now and to ultimately make a real difference when it comes to reducing reoffending rates, across the UK.”
