A BMW driver has been arrested after reportedly driving under the influence of drugs in Bolton.
A car, which was stopped on St Georges Street on Saturday, had allegedly been driven away from police on previous occasions.
When the driver was detained, police said a roadside test returned positive for cocaine.
The insurance on the car was also fraudulently obtained, according to police checks.
The car was then seized.
Sharing a picture of the car on social media, a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “This BMW 135 has previously made off from patrols.
"Checks had shown the insurance to be fraudulently obtained.
“Pre-emptive tactics used and the driver detained on St Georges Street, Bolton.
