Bolton’s biggest housing group will be partnering with the town’s famous food and drink festival again this year.
The festival is set to run between Friday August 26 and Monday August 29 with Bolton at Home set to run their own stall, while also donating some of their spaces to charities and social enterprises.
These include the Backup Charity, who’ll be using their coffee van to raise funds for their housing and support services for homeless young people and HMP Pasties which aims to create more opportunities for people with criminal convictions looking to turn their lives around.
CEO Jon Lord said: “What we love about the festival is that it showcases the town’s vibrancy and the skill of our local producers, growers, bakers, brewers, chefs, and home-kitchen cooks.”
“Most importantly, it brings communities together.
“Food and drink unite us and it’s great to see people appreciating the cuisine of different countries and cultures as one.”
This will take place alongside a range of other activities as part of the food and drink festival including arts and crafts stalls, celebrity chef appearances from The Hairy Bikers, Ainsley Harriott, and James Martin.
There will also be two music stages including the festival stage on Le Mans Crescent.
