An elderly woman has been found dead at a home in Bury.
Police were called to a property on Sandown Road at around 12.30pm on Sunday to reports of a concern for a woman's welfare.
Officers found a woman had died and found there were no 'suspicious circumstances' surrounding her death.
Residents reported a large police presence on the street
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “At around 12.30pm on Sunday, officers were called to a concern for welfare of an elderly lady on Sandown Road, Bury.
“Officers arrived at the scene and the woman was found deceased at the property.
"There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding their death.”
