Bolton Police have charged a man who allegedly exposed himself in Bolton Town Centre.

Bolton Police detained a 28-year-old-man in connection with two incidents of indecent exposure in Bolton Town Centre on the morning of Monday, 15 August.

Ion Tranca, 28, of South Street, Bolton was charged today, Tuesday August 16, and remanded in custody.

The charge follows one of the victims reporting the alleged incident to police and supporting the investigation.

Officers reviewed CCTV and established that there was a second victim who remains unknown at this time.

Tranca appeared in Wigan and Leigh magistrates this morning where he pleaded guilty and will be sentenced on Wednesday, September.
