A village road was reportedly taped off last night as emergency services attended an incident at a 'private address'.

Victory Road in Little Lever was taped off last night at 9.30pm, with passers-by reporting fire engines, ambulances and police at the scene.

North West Ambulance Service told The Bolton News that one person was taken to hospital.

The fire service also confirmed they were in attendence.

A spokesperson from North West Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 21.03.

“We sent an ambulance and two rapid response vehicles and took one patient to hospital.”

The spokesman said they could not reveal any more details as the incident was at a private address.

One local told The Bolton News: "Victory Road in Little Lever was been taped off and police, ambulance and fire were present."

Greater Manchester Police have been contacted for a response.
