A student revealed how she spent all day in the library before her A Level results.

Victoria Adeoje Sulaiman was over the moon to receive two A*’s and two A’s in business, Spanish economics and maths.

The student at Turton School says she spent a lot of her free time in the library.

She said: “I feel so relieved, especially after my economics exam because in the first paper, I didn’t finish it and I remember messaging my teacher about it, but she told me not to worry and to just concentrate on the other two papers.

“So, I made up for it in those and it was the same with maths, I didn’t finish my papers, but it all went well in the end, can’t believe I’ve done it.

“I was in the library all day every day, it was like my second home.”

Victoria had just told her family group chat about her grades, who were extremely happy for her.

The 18-year-old also touched on how different it was doing exams again since their 2020 GCSE’s were cancelled.

She said: “It feels so different since 2020 because we just got our mock grades, but it just felt weird doing exams again.

“I’m studying business management and I’m excited but nervous because it’s so far from my family where I’m going in Bath.

“But it’s a new experience at the end of the day and being independent will be both a challenge and good fun.

“It’s not close so I can’t visit as often but I’m just so happy after today and I know my family are too.”

Victoria already studied business at GCSE and is still thinking about what career path to take.

She said: “I liked it at GCSE as well and I think that business opens different opportunities.

“And you can do so much with a business degree, and I can’t wait to see where it leads me.”

Victoria had made plans to go out with her friends to celebrate the milestone.
