Firefighters from Bolton Central Fire Station are running demonstration on what happens during a road traffic collision (RTC) this weekend.
As part of the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service's (GMFRS) road safety campaign, firefighters well demonstrate their skills and show how they act in a emergency situation.
They will be showcasing how they extract a person from a car in a bid to try and educate people about the risks of careless driving, such as speeding, driving without due are and attention and driving under the influence.
The event will take place on Saturday, August 20 in Victoria Square and there will be two RTC casualty extraction scenarios played out.

Crew Manager Andy Turner said: "Firefighters from Bolton Central Fire Station are running a RTC demonstration as part of an important road safety campaign.
"The event will run from 11am and will involve a demonstration of a two car RTC and casualty extraction.
"It will be an exciting opportunity to see an example what our teams do at these incidents whilst also highlighting the importance of safe driving and consequences of not being safe."
GMFRS's road safety campaign aligns itself with multiple operations that Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have been conducting in recent times, such as Operation Portman, Operation Avro and Operation Vortex.
In July, an Operation Vortex day of action in Bolton resulted in officers recording 102 traffic offences, 29 speed offences, issuing 19 prohibition notices, seizing five vehicles and making four arrests.
Last year, when GMP launched Op Portman in response to concerns over the number of serious road incidents in the town, a total of 564 drivers in Bolton were reported for allegedly committing a range of offences in the space of a month.
Incidents where drink driving caused death or injury have also seen a reduction in recent years.
