Arcade Fire are playing at Manchester’s AO Arena this September.

The Canadian band released their latest album We earlier this year and it became their fourth number one album in the UK.

During the tour, they’ll be visiting a few UK cities including Birmingham, Glasgow and more.

If you’re wondering what you can and can’t bring to the concert, look no further.

Arcade Fire bag policy for AO Arena Manchester

Small bags are allowed to be taken into AO Arena Manchester but they could be searched.

Larger bags, bigger than an A3 sheet of paper, including backpacks, holdalls, luggage and oversized bags are not allowed into the venue. Those visiting AO Arena also must not bring cushions with them.

There’s nowhere to store your belongings inside the venue.

Here are some of the items that are not allowed into the AO Arena. It’s important to note that additional items may also not be allowed and could be refused entry.

  • Glass, cans, aluminium bottles or thermoses of any kind including liquid products which can be consumed.
  • Flammable liquids in any container
  • Laser pens/pointers
  • Video cameras, recording devices and professional cameras
  • Laptop computers, iPads, Go Pro’s or tablets with filming and recording capabilities
  • Large/golf/metal tipped umbrellas
  • Knives or weapons of any kind
  • Illegal drugs or substances
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Signs, banners or flags on poles, staffs or selfie sticks
  • Animals (except ADUK registered service dogs)
  • Air horns, whistles, cowbells or other noise-making distractions
  • Projectiles (frisbees, beach balls, footballs etc)
  • Aerosol cans (hairspray, deodorant etc)
  • Fireworks, confetti, glitter bombs or flares
  • Balloons
  • Use of wheeled footwear, skateboards
  • Food and drinks
  • Helmets and full face masks
  • Large studs and chains
