Bolton kids under the age of 17 are entitled to free swimming at leisure centres in the town.
The Junior Leisure Card gives children under the age of 17 free access to swimming pools all around the town.
To be eligible for the card, the person needs to be under 17 years old and live in Bolton.
In order to obtain a Junior Leisure Card, visit the Bolton Council website and fill in the application form, and take it to any leisure centre with a form of ID and a parent/carer.
Alternatively, a form can be obtained and completed at the leisure centre.
Centres where the free Junior Leisure Card is accepted are Farnworth Leisure Centre, Horwich Leisure Centre, the Jason Kenny Centre at Bolton One, Leverhulme Park Community Leisure Centre and Westhoughton Leisure Centre.
The leisure centre at Bolton Arena is the exception and doesn’t accept the free junior leisure card.
