A BOLTON Orchestra will be hosting a concert at the end of this month, partnering with a local group to bring a night of pure joy.

Bolton Symphony Orchestra will be hosting a concert ‘The Poet As Hero’ at The Victoria Hall in Bolton.

It will be led by Anita Levy and conducted by Ben Crick, who are looking forward to inviting people to the hall from 7.30pm.

Bolton Symphony Orchestra will be performing Elgar's Cockaigne Overture, Walton's Henry 5th Suite and Brahms' Symphony No. 4 on Saturday, September 24.

They are also very excited to announce that they have partnered up with North West Theatre Arts Company who will be providing three actors to narrate the Henry 5th Suite.

A spokesperson for Bolton Symphony Orchestra said: “We are very excited that North West Theatre Arts Company will be providing three actors to narrate the suite.

“We love collaborating with other groups, and this is going to be a really interesting evening.”

Tickets are priced at £12 and under 19s go free.
