Beer lovers do not have long to wait until Bolton Beer Festival make its return to the borough.

Running from Thursday October 13 to Saturday October 15, the festival will once again be hosted at the University of Bolton Stadium.

Beer enthusiasts will be descending to Bolton as the ever-popular festival returns. Proceeds from the event go towards children and young person’s charity, Bolton Lads & Girls Club – the sole beneficiary of the festival.

With tasters from UK and around the world on offer, the festival will boast more than 200 real ales, as well as lagers, ciders, gin, wine and prosecco, allowing guests to have a vast array of options suitable for every palate.

There will be numerous live music and performances throughout the three days, and the orgnaisers are confident there will be a great sense of fun to be had by all those attending, in a safe environment.

Kelly McFadden, head of fundraising and communications at Bolton Lads & Girls Club, said: “The Beer Festival has become a staple event in so many people’s calendars.

In 2021 the Beer Festival raised a record breaking £70,000 for the club, which we were absolutely over the moon with.

It is the biggest social event in the Bolton calendar, and we are delighted that we can return this year and we look forward to welcoming everyone safely to the festival.”

Laura Pendlebury, events and fundraising manager, added: “The services of our charity are needed now more than ever, all the money raised will go back into the core services at the club.

“As always, we are so grateful to everyone for the continual support we receive every year.”

Previous years have attracted more than 8,000 punters, would be visitors to this year’s festival are being advised to book their ticket sooner rather than later. The same is being advised to potential sponsors, with a variety of sponsorship packaged available.
