A weather warning has been fired out as a chunk of the North West including Bolton is set to hit by heavy rain overnight.
National forecaster, the Met Office, has issued a yellow warning for rain from midnight until 11am tomorrow, Monday.
Spray and flooding on roads is expected to make journey times longer and bus and train services are likely to be affected.

More settled weather is expected after the spell of heavy rain though.
A Met Office spokesman said: "Monday will be a rather cloudy and breezy day with further outbreaks of rain, and some heavy bursts are still likely at times.
"Tuesday and Wednesday will be dry with some sunshine at times, although it will feel fresher.
"More cloud is likely on Thursday, which could give the odd spot of rain."
