Mercury Meltdown Revolution is a game that I won in a competition in the Official Nintendo Magazine.

And It's a good job that I won it because it isn't really a game I'd normally be interested in. Yet, it turned out to be surprisingly good.

You play a ball of mercury and you have to navigate levels. It may sound boring and, let's face it, rolling a ball around a level is normally not much of a challenge but this is very tricky indeed and sometimes it will make you want to shout and swear at the TV.

There are enemies that try to eat the mercury and push it of the edge. Sometimes you have to split your mercury up into several pieces and send them in opposite directions!

Your different pieces of Mercury to be different colours, then you have to make your blobs of mercury collide so that they become one and the colours mix together.

At the end of each level, the mercury has to be one certain colour or, when you get on the finishing spot it'll just carry counting down.

That's something else that makes it difficult: the timer.

You only have a set amount of time to do each level which means you're rushing. But you can't rush Because your mercury will fall off the edge of the course.

Right, now for the controls. The controls are much like Kororinpa as in you tilt the Wii Remote but in this you're controlling the mercury and not the table.

The game also has a Party mode where you can have Mercury time trials.

Summary I would recommend this game very highly especially to hardcore gamers because it is quirky, different and fun!
