FIRE crews attended a fire at a stable.
They were called to the building in Tonge Fold at around 11.15pm on Saturday night.
It was reported that horses were present at the property to the rear of Cemetery Road.
However the fire was only found to involve a large quantity of hay and straw, which was destroyed by the blaze.
