THE facility to pass comment on stories uploaded to theboltonnews.co.uk has today been suspended.
The decision to do so was made following complaints about a number of posts which breached our terms and conditions, and because certain stories have been hijacked by a minority of web readers who have used them as a forum for petty arguments.
The online comment facility is intended to provide the facility for readers to pass meaningful comments on the issues raised in articles.
Abuse of it will not be tolerated. The suspension will be in place until further notice.
