THIRTEEN people have appeared in court after a series of dawn drug raids.

Twenty-two warrants were executed at addresses across Bolton last Wednesday and 13 people were charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs.

Bolton magistrates have sent the cases to Bolton Crown Court Seven were given bail and committed to appear at Crown Court on July 4.

They were: Jagdeep Halai, aged 27, of Jasmine Court, Lever Edge; Anil Halai, aged 24, of Newport Road, Great Lever; Louise Johnson, aged 27, of Victoria Grove, Brownlow Fold; Roshan Patel, aged 24, of Pedder Street, Brownlow Fold; Majid Aziz, aged 28, and Tabarek Majid, aged 19, both of Lawn Street, Brownlow Fold; and Mohammed Arfan Saqiq, aged 24, of Gilnow Lane, Bolton.

A 17-year-old boy who was also charged was also given bail.

Five others were remanded in custody. They were: Manesh Patel, aged 29, of Victoria Grove, Brownlow Fold, Saqub Zoheb Dad, aged 23, of Bedford Street, Bolton, Lance Harrison, aged 20, and Mark Harrison, aged 20, both of Gilnow Lane, Bolton, and Mujahid Ashraf, aged 25, of Bradford Street, Bolton.

Two people have been released without charge, while a further five have been bailed pending further inquiries.
