BANDS have just two weeks left to submit their applications to play this year's Bolton Music Showcase.
Application packs are available to download from the showcase website, www.boltonmusicshowcase.org. Deadline for submissions is May 5.
Now in its fifth year, the Bolton Music Showcase has developed a reputation for featuring the very best of Bolton's musical talent.
In a full day of music, bands of every age and genre will turn Leverhulme Park into a hotbed of musical talent.
The event will be opened by the winners of the Showcase Showdown 2008, and from the Rock-Ed rock school, followed by the very cream of the town's music scene.
In addition there will be art events, workshops, local craft stalls and camper vans that will make MTV's Pimp My Ride go green with envy.
Local performance poetry collective Write Out Loud will organise open-mic poetry performances, Banksy wannabes can try their hand at interactive art, and future Oscar winners can take part in on-site drama workshops at this family-friendly event.
