A pedestrian has been taken to hospital after an accident at a Bolton town centre junction.
The incident happened at 2.25pm near Poundstretcher, Knowsley Street, when the pedestrian was hit by a car and suffered head injuries.
A woman who was driving a Suzuki Grand Vitara which was involved in the incident also suffered minor injuries.
The road has been closed between Howell Croft and St George's Road.
