A MAN was shot in the arm following a row in the street.
Two men got involved in a fight in Chorley Old Road, near to its junction with Mortfield Lane, at 4.20pm today.
The row escalated and one of the men was shot in the arm.
Police were called and the scene is currently cordoned off.
The injured man has been taken to hospital. It is unclear at this stage how serious his injuries are.
