A giant Bolton Wanderers shirt is being taken on tour around the entire country to raise money for charity.
Tracy Hobson, aged 43, from Horwich, is taking the shirt around all 92 grounds from the four divisions of the Football League to raise money for charity.
She is touring the shirt, which used to be hung up in JD Sports in the town centre, around the country in aid of Bolton Wanderers in the Community.
The charity aim to use the power of the football club to bring communities in the borough together, inspiring, supporting and delivering positive change.
Tracy said: “I used to work for JD Sports in Bolton town centre.
“The shirt was on display on the wall with a couple of Bolton pictures.
“It was having a refurbishment, so I asked them ‘what are you doing with that’ they said ‘oh, it’s going in the bin’, so I said I’ll have it.
“I got a season ticket and started going to games last season, so I thought I’d take the shirt.
She added: “I set up its own Facebook page and Instagram, as well as a JustGiving page for Bolton Wanderers in the Community.
“I’m taking it to all 92 Football League grounds.
"Every time I went to a game, people were coming up and would ask for a picture.
“I thought might as well raise a bit of money for the community.”
Tracy added: “Bolton Wanderers in the Community do a lot for the community, for elderly people, children and ex-offenders.
“I was thinking a mental health organisation… but they already get a lot of funding because they’re bigger, so I started to look closer to home.
“I used to go with my dad from about seven to eight years old at Burnden Park, but working retail for 15 years or so I didn’t get a chance to have a season ticket until now.
“Last season I went to every away game in the second half of the season.”
Tracy has taken the shirt to four football clubs, Liverpool, Everton, Tranmere Rovers and MK Dons.
She will be at this Saturday’s home match against Lincoln City.
